PALIB conducted a Steering Committee meeting to highlight the rules and regulations of digital library and scientific research services

On Thursday 17 September 2020, PaLib conducted a remotely steering committee meeting to discuss the next
activities within WP2 in terms of Legal study of current rules, regulations and articles for digital library services and scientific research services.
PALIB coordinator, Dr. Ahmed AlDahdooh welcomed the participants from the project partners and summarized the achieved activities and efforts especially the WP1. In terms of WP2, Dr. Imad Braik from An-Najah National University highlighted the upcoming activities that include a seminar to understand the existing condition in EU regarding the policy and rule of digital libraries and scientific research at the EU level and international one.
The participants also discussed the suggested plan for Wp3 which aims to build the capacity of local universities under the current of circumstances of COVID19 pandemic.
Its worth to mention that PaLib project is co-financed by the European Union (under the Erasmus+ Programme), is implemented by a consortium led by University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS) (PS) in association with Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) (PS), Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU) (PS), An-Najah National University (ANNU) (PS), Fundacion Universitaria San Antonio (UCAM) (ES), Università degli Studi dell’Aquila (UNIVAQ) (IT) and Associazione ARCES (ARCES) (IT).
